About the Brand
BLAQ Classics, founded by Victor Moore in Charlotte, NC in 2021, is a vintage, quality-driven experimental streetwear brand. After having joined a sustainability focused fashion collective, he was inspired to move beyond the fast fashion driven fashion brands of today, and study what has allowed vintage pieces to stand the test of time. This created an insatiable hunger and curiosity within Moore.
Created with the idea of merging fashion and history, this particular vintage lane allows Moore to tell a unique Americana story. Moore has a degree in Graphic Design and has always focused on American history in his studies.
Source magazines gave Moore a visual reality of what life was like as an adult in the 90s. Aesthetically speaking, the 90s has a significant presence in the BLAQ Classics™ brand. As Moore is a collegiately-trained graphic designer, the brand features custom new pieces, that still retain quality and intentionality.
